Outdoor broadcasting boost for Noosa Community Radio

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Llew O’Brien, today announced Noosa Community Radio will receive $5,160 from the Coalition Government to assist with the purchase of equipment to be used for outdoor broadcasts.

“Noosa Community Radio provides a great local service, keeping Noosa informed about local news and activities and I’m pleased this grant will enable the station to continue to support and cover outdoor events,” Mr O’Brien said.

“Noosa Community Radio carries approximately 16 outdoor broadcasts each year, assisting local groups, musicians, and artists, and promoting Noosa. 

“The new equipment will assist Noosa Community Radio to provide a valuable service to Noosa communities.”

The funding will be provided through the Australian Government’s Stronger Communities Programme.
