Wide Bay communities wouldn’t be the same without the efforts of local volunteers, doing extraordinary work to improve the lives of others.

They generously give their time, energy and expertise to keep our communities going through good times and bad, and their contributions make a real difference to the wellbeing and happiness of so many people.

Whether they volunteer at a Meals on Wheels service, a Landcare group, a local charity or a sports club – their value cannot be overstated.
