Maryborough Motorcyclist Club receives $11,658 towards new shed

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Llew O’Brien and Minister for Regional Development, Fiona Nash, today announced the Liberal Nationals Government will provide $11,658 towards the construction of a new shed at Maryborough’s Action Park.

“The funding will be used to build a new multi-purpose shed that will provide space for a meeting room, training facility, and administrative services, as well as storage for the Club’s equipment,” Mr O’Brien said.

“The shed will assist with the growth and development of the Club, and encourage greater community use of the site.

“One of the Club’s core objectives is to train safer motorcyclists, so enhancing the site with the new multi-purpose shed will help the Club to deliver this goal.

“The current shed on the site is a 2 metre x 4 metre demountable and has no power, so I am pleased the Coalition Government is contributing to this project which will have lasting benefits to the Club and the community.”
