Llew O’Brien joins Sunshine Coast St Vinnies Community Sleepout
Federal Member for Wide Bay, Llew O’Brien has confirmed he is going to participate in the Sunshine Coast St Vinnies Community Sleepout, on Thursday 29 June at Maroochydore Surf Club.
“There are many people in our community who are doing it tough,” Mr O’Brien said.
“Whether through unemployment, mental illness, family breakdown, addiction, or a string of bad luck, hard times can result in homelessness.
“On 29 June I will join in the Sunshine Coast Vinnies Corporate & Community Sleepout, to show my support for people on the street and help raise funds for St Vincent de Paul to support people in need.
